Following a debut run in 2021 that sold out in just a few days, Alberta breweries Last Best Brewing and Distilling, Campio Brewing Co., Banff Ave Brewing Co., and Jasper Brewing Co. announced this week that their charity collaboration brew in support of first responders will be making a return this month.
Similar to last year’s edition, the breweries describe this year’s First Call beer as an approachable blood orange IPA that features notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and lime with a blood orange twist.
Proceeds from every sale of First Call will be donated to charity support systems that directly serve Alberta’s first responders, with $1 from every four-pack going to Legacy Place Society and a portion of draught sales from each brewery going to a local charity of their choice.
First Call is expected to hit shelves across Alberta today and is now available on draught and in four-packs at each of the four participating breweries.
