It's not your usually guacamole, but this creamy dip is great with chips, veg, as a spread in sandwiches -- you name it.
Chef Lynn Crawford's guacamole dip
2 ripe avocados
2 tbsp lime juice
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bunch cilantro (stems removed), finely chopped
4 tbsp Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Halve and pit the avocados. Scoop out the flesh of the avocados into a bowl. Gently mash the avocados with a fork, leaving them somewhat chunky.
Add the remaining ingredients, and gently fold everything together.
Tip: For some heat, add in 1 pickled jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped.
