Calgary's Bonterra Trattoria celebrates milestone anniversary

The restaurant is marking 20 years as one of Calgary's top destinations for Italian dining

Bonterra Trattoria opened in June 2001, and since then, it has become one of Calgary's favourite Italian restaurants.

Some of Canada's best chefs have worked in the Bonterra kitchen, beginning with chef Josef Wiewer, who set out to create some of the best Italian food in the city. Throughout the years, the menu has stayed true to casual Italian and Mediterranean flavours with a selection of pastas, pizzas, and pastries.

“We know that our regulars love to support us and they expect only the best, served with casual elegance,” says Stephen Reid, CEO of Creative Restaurant Group. “We always look for the best locally sourced ingredients and fresh creative ways to serve the food to our guests.”
