Farina a Legna in North Vancouver launches Italian brunch service this weekend

North Van now has an Italian brunch option on the weekends

Vancouver diners have a new reason to rise and shine as Farina a Legna, the most recent concept from Kitchen Table Restaurants Group, launches its weekend brunch service beginning Saturday, March 14.

Since opening last year in North Vancouver’s Lower Lonsdale district, Farina a Legna has built quite the following with its offering of classic and creative wood-fired pizze, handmade pasta dishes, and delicious antipasti, insalata and dolci

Its community-focused Northern Italian inspiration continues with the new brunch program that includes sweet and savoury standouts, such as Nutella toast with housemade chocolate and hazelnut spread, toasted hazelnuts, roasted banana jam, vanilla whipped ricotta; and the Italian Benny with focaccia, two poached eggs, tomatoes, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and crispy polenta.

Several popular dinner items will also be making a brunch debut, like the carbonara or the pesto Genovese and classic Margherita pizze. Plus, guests can add an egg to any dish for an additional $2.

Just because it’s the first meal of the day, it doesn’t mean you can’t imbibe. House-bottled cocktails, mimosas made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, Italian fruit nectars and artisanal sodas, and an array of amaro, grappa and other digestive will be available as well.

Whether it’s a gathering of family or a celebration with friends, Farina a Legna is the perfect spot to say buongiorno.

Brunch is available Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
