The eighth annual YYC Pizza Week is set to take place in Calgary from September 17-26, and this week, Calgary Meals on Wheels revealed what Calgarians can expect from the friendly 10-day competition.
With a lineup of some of Calgary’s best pizza purveyors competing in categories such as Thin Crust, Thick Crust, and Out-Of-The-Box, pizza-enthusiasts can expect to see a wide range of unique and delicious creations from the 45 participating restaurants.
A portion of the proceeds from the pizzas will be donated to Meals on Wheels and works to bring the community together in a fun event for a great cause.
