Known for its year-round activities and stunning mountain views, Whistler just added new accommodations for travellers who are looking to relax, share stories and immerse themselves in mountain sports while staying on budget. The Pangea Pod Hotel offers 88 cozy private pods across eight suites, located just a short stroll away from the gondolas. And to bring guests together, The Living Room and the rooftop patio offer craft beers, cocktails and small bites in a communal cafe setting.

If you're lucky enough to be spending the holidays in Whistler, head to The Living Room at the Pangea Pod. If not, you can make this sweet and spicy tequila cocktail at home while you make travel plans to get there.

3/4 oz. lime juice
1 wedge pineapple, with rind, for garnish
