The conversation of "best chicken wings" is on that comes up often regardless of what city or town you live in. Virtually every pub, and many restaurants, serve them, but you would likely agree that all wings are not created equal.
It's in this vein that Calgary's Cowboys Dance Hall is once again on the hunt for Calgary's best chicken wings. The 5th Annual Wing Off in support of Kidsport Calgary is taking place on Thursday, March 9, 2023, and will see a ton of Calgary bars and restaurants serving up wings for event-goers to sample and vote on.
The nightclub is currently seeking local eateries to take part, plus have a chance to win in various categories like The Most Unique, Best Salt & Pepper, Best Hot Wings and Best Sauce. The team with the most votes overall will win the iconic Golden Wing Trophy and over $35,000 in promotions including a 2023 Cowboys Music Festival Party for their entire staff.

Chefs love a good competition, of course, but attendees are the ones that get to have the most fun, being able to eat over 40 flavours of chicken wings (if desired). Cowboys will also have a handful of "Calgary celebrities" in attendance, which VIP ticket holders will have a chance to mingle with.
Cowboys 5th annual Wing Off takes place 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 9. General tickets cost $30 (7 p.m. entry, 1 free beer) and VIP tickets cost $60 (6 p.m. entry, meet and greet with celebrities, 2 free beers, and more).
