Made By Marcus—one of Canada’s most celebrated ice cream shops—has adapted 50 of its iconic ice cream recipes for foodies to churn at home with its debut cookbook Made By Marcus, Made by You, which is now officially available for pre-order!

Written by owner and chief ice cream recipe creator Marcus Purtzki, the cookbook will be released on Oct. 25, 2024 and promises to appeal to both at-home ice cream enthusiats as well as professional cooks. The vibrant cookbook is organized by season and also includes a “weird” chapter with flavours like Black Truffle & Honey and Mac & Cheese that playfully test the limits of what an ice cream can be.

“It took a lot of time and passion to bring Made By Marcus, Made by You to life, and I think it really shows,” explains Marcus Purtzki. “Making ice cream at home is such an exciting thing to do, and I promise this book will not lead you astray!”

In addition to recipes and personal stories and anecdotes from Marcus, the book is chock full of tips and tricks as well as a rundown of ice cream machines suitable for home use, and more.

“Whether you’re a Made By Marcus regular or just an ice-cream-loving Canadian, I hope you will love this cookbook as much as we do,” says Purtzki.

The Made By Marcus, Made by You cookbook retails at $45 and is currently available for pre-order via madebymarcus.ca. All pre-ordered copies will be signed by Marcus Purtzki. Following its release on Oct. 25, 2024, the book will be available in select independent bookstores across Canada.
