If you're always looking for an excuse to try one more craft beer, then you are definitely a friend of mine!
Though she now calls Nashville home, the award-winning country singer Mallory Johnson is back in her home province of Newfoundland this month. She is about to embark on a seven-date tour to celebrate the release of her brand new album Surprise Party (available on all streaming platforms as of Friday, October 21).
To get in on the celebration, popular craft brewer Dildo Brewing Co. has created the Surprise Party Sour. The tall cans boast a playful design of an illustrated mermaid version of Mallory strumming a guitar underwater, and they are currently available for purchase directly from the brewery as well as liquor stores across the province.
"I am so excited and honoured to have this delicious sour beer created by Dildo Brewing Co. I love sours and this beer is made with partridge berries, a true homage to Newfoundland," says Johnson. "This new record is all about celebration and what pairs better with a party than a Dildo...beer?"
