After being forced to move the majority of its iconic outdoor festival to a virtual format in 2020, Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country will welcome guests back for its 14th annual Half Corked Marathon this fall.
Since Half Corked tickets are always in extremely high demand and typically available by allocation only, the festival recently announced that it will be releasing a limited number of tickets on July 20.
“Our annual ticket lottery sees thousands of people trying to get a hold of Half Corked tickets, and this year was no exception,” says Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “With restrictions easing and more people keen to visit our region this fall, we’ve carved out the capacity to offer extra tickets to allow more friend and family groups to experience Half Corked together.”
To provide additional space for participants to access the 18 Okanagan wine stops throughout the race, this year’s Half Corked format has also been updated to offer two starting points along with a new route that showcases both the Black Sage Road and the Golden Mile Bench.
Oliver Osoyoos’ Half Corked Marathon takes place on Saturday September 11th, 2021. “OMG” tickets will be available to purchase on July 20 at $240 per person. A limited number of tickets to the festival’s popular pre-race Primavera dinner are currently available online.
