This week, Project Wild announced that the live showcases for the final edition of its five-year country artist development program will take place at The King Eddy in Calgary from February 24 to 26.

Each of the three showcases will feature four performances from this year’s Top 12 finalists. A panel of industry professionals will score each artist’s performance, after which fans will also get to vote for their favourite artist from February 27 to March 6.

The first showcase on February 24 will feature Hailey Benedict, NewLaw, D’orjay The Singing Shaman, and Kyle McKearney, followed by Alex Hughes, Devin Cooper, Robert Adam, and Drew Gregory on February 25, and finishing off with Maddison Krebs, Flaysher, Shaela Miller, and Ryan Lindsay on February 26.

Following a final series of challenges taking place shortly after the Top 12 showcases, the Top 3 artists will be announced on air by WILD953 on March 17, with the final three artists earning $100,953, $75,000, and $50,000 respectively.

Project Wild’s Top 12 showcases will kick off at 7:30 p.m. from February 24 to 26 at The King Eddy. More information about Project Wild and this year’s finalists can be found online
