This week, Calgary’s acclaimed Teatro Ristorante announced the appointment of Edmonton-raised chef and hospitality veteran David Leeder as the restaurant’s new executive chef.
Prior to accepting his new role at Teatro, chef Leeder spent the better part of a decade staging around the world before taking the helm of a number of noteworthy kitchens in Alberta, including Edmonton’s award-winning Woodwork and the famed five-star fishing resort West Coast Fishing Club.
“We have loved having chef Leeder bring a new perspective to Teatro,” shares Teatro Group CEO and director of culinary Matthew Batey. “We can’t wait to see what our patrons think of some of his new signature menu items such as Ravioli Solari and Seared Scallops with Berkshire Pork Belly.”
Teatro is open Mondays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m.
