Crown Royal launches #GenerosityHour in support of the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program

Crown Royal pledges to donate up to $200,000 to support of bartenders facing hardships across the U.S.

Yesterday, Crown Royal announced its plans to host a virtual happy hour, spanning the entire weekend, during which it will donate $1 to the USBG Bartender Emergency Assistance Fund for every social media post with the tag #GenerosityHour.

The USBG National Charity Foundation is made up of a diverse group of beverage, hospitality, and non-profit professionals, who offer assistance to bartenders across the U.S. facing sudden and precipitous hardships.

As of yet, there has been no word from Crown Royal on whether they plan to run a similar campaign for Canadian bartenders who regularly stock their bars with the Manitoba-made product, but we are most definitely crossing our fingers that they will.

The cut-off time for Crown Royal’s virtual happy hour is Sunday, March 22 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
