Located on the lobby level of The Westin Bayshore hotel with stunning views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains, H Tasting Lounge was already a top destination for Vancouverites to enjoy creatively crafted cocktails with scenic surroundings that's second to none.
Now, with the addition of its newly unveiled patio space and revamped summer menu, the Cardero Park bar and eatery has become one of Vancouver’s must-visit locations.
The new 1,765-square-foot patio, like the award-winning interior, was designed by Liv Interiors, whose classic yet contemporary art deco design complements both the beautiful backdrop and seasonal offerings of the new menu. The 50-seat space is equipped with plush lounge-style seating and a 30-foot fireplace that runs the length of the patio.
Chef Shaun Maclean’s summer menu showcases the simplicity of fresh local ingredients from land and sea, including shareable plates like Two Rivers Specialty Meats, Uno Gelato, and Gastown Organics. The kitchen delivers continental bistro classics like chilled and raw shellfish, a daily oyster fresh sheet, crudos, carpaccios, and tartares.
The signature cocktail menu is organized by specific flavour profiles and features fresh effervescent gins, aged rums, tea-infusions, shareable punch bowls, and a selection of fun zero proof "cocktails".
The new patio is open from 11:30 a.m. to midnight with happy hour served daily from 5 p.m. -7 p.m. H Tasting Lounge also offers an afternoon tea service every weekend from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring unique offerings like their cotton candy bonsai tree and a variety of sweet and savoury snacks.
