Earlier today chef and co-owner of Edmonton's Yarrow, Ben Staley, announced via Instagram that he has made the decision to leave the hospitality industry to pursue his passion in design and architecture.
"[Two years ago someone asked me, 'Is cooking your passion?'] and it really fucked me up...and for some reason, I couldn't say yes," wrote Staley in a multi-frame post on his personal Instagram account.
Although Yarrow has yet to make any kind of formal announcement regarding its next steps, but it appears like it will continue to operate in the (now former) restaurateur's absence.
