B.C.-based charitable initiative Festival of Trees is gearing up for its annual province-wide campaign in support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, and while any of the five stops it makes along the way promise to be a good time, arguably the most anticipated events are happening at Mission Hill Family Estate beginning on November 25.
The acclaimed winery is playing host to the initiative for the sixth time, and to mark the occasion, it will be holding a Light Up Celebration on November 25 featuring live music, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and a selection of holiday treats.
After the kick-off party, Mission Hill will continue its festive showcase until January 3, during which guests will have the opportunity to take a cellar tour followed by a seated wine tasting paired with small seasonally-inspired bites.
A percentage of proceeds from each experience will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Mission Hill is also planning to match all donations made by Wine Club members who visit during the campaign.
More information about the Festival of Trees can be found online, while bookings for each of the two experiences can be made through the Mission Hill website.
