Odd Society Spirits cocktail bar reopens in Vancouver

East Vancouver's premier small-batch craft distillery is set to resume sit-down service today

After spending the last few months assessing, formulating, and implementing a safe and efficient reopening strategy, East Vancouver’s premier small-batch craft distillery, Odd Society Spirits, is officially ready to reopen its doors for sit-down service today.

The multitude of safety-centric changes to the Odd Society cocktail lounge includes a reduced capacity to maintain physical distancing, enhanced cleaning measures for front and back of house, and modified service standards to minimize unnecessary contact.

To celebrate the cocktail lounge’s highly-anticipated relaunch, Odd Society has announced that during their first week of service, they will be donating $1 from every Benevolent Spritz cocktail--the latest creation from renowned bar manager Olivia Povarchook--to Mind The Bar, a non-profit health resource and support system for hospitality industry workers.

The Odd Society tasting lounge is open 3-10 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 1-10 p.m. on Saturdays. Reservations can be made via email. The distillery will also continue to offer its online bottle shop, curbside pickup, local delivery, and cross-Canada shipping. Extensive details regarding Odd Society’s reopening plan can be found online.
