Saskatoon’s Pop Wine Bar announces New Year’s Eve dinner and afterparty

Counting down to NYE with delicious food, wine and music

It didn’t take long for Saskatoon’s Pop Wine Bar to garner recognition as one of Canada’s best new restaurants, so it should come as no surprise that when the restaurant announced its plans for New Year’s Eve yesterday, many patrons were quick to pounce on tickets.

Those who do get lucky enough to secure seats will be treated to a surprise six-course tasting menu presented by acclaimed chef Christie Peters, featuring a creative fusion of local ingredients and luxury imported items.

Diners will also be pleased to hear that Pop Wine Bar’s New Year’s Eve dinner will also feature returning restaurant favourites Rosewood Winery and Canoe Oysters’ Wesley Gendron, who will be shucking on location throughout the evening.

Once dinner service concludes, Pop Wine Bar will be hosting a fun New Year’s Eve afterparty at no additional cost to dinner guests. Diners who book with sister restaurant Primal Pasta for its decadent four-course New Year’s Eve dinner will also be extended the same offer.

Tickets to Pop Wine Bar’s New Year’s Eve dinner are priced at $180 per person and can be purchased via email on a first-come-first-serve basis. Both Primal and Pop Wine Bar guests will have first dibs on booking the afterparty, after which tickets will become available to all at some point next week.
