The Canadian restaurant scene is certainly feeling back to normal this year with a plethora of interesting eateries opening up over the past eight months—and many more still on the way.
A true notch in the belt for a new restaurant is being featured in Air Canada enRoute's Canada's Best New Restaurants issue. After doing an abridged version of the awards (of sorts) for 2021, enRoute is also back to normal with its proper longlist of nominees.
30 notable concepts from coast-to-coast such as Winnipeg's Nola, Vancouver's Bar Susu and Delara, Calgary's Một Tô and Pop Wine Bar in Saskatoon will bask in their longlist glory for the next while until the magazine finalizes its Top 10 in October. This year's list shows a nice balance of establishments from as far west as Tofino and as far east as St. John's.
