Vancouver’s Nightingale launches line of frozen pizzas in grocery stores

Three of Nightingale’s signature slices can now be found in the freezer aisle

Fans of Vancouver’s Nightingale restaurant now have a new way to enjoy the acclaimed eatery’s popular Neapolitan-style pizzas after the Hawksworth Restaurant Group announced today the launch of a new lineup of heat-and-serve offerings at grocery locations across B.C.

Each of the three new wood-fired pizzas are cooked in a specialty Italian Malagutti oven at a temperature of 800 degrees Fahrenheit to produce Nightingale’s signature bubble and char crust, and feature a high quality combination of local and imported Italian ingredients.

“Perfecting our dough recipe at Nightingale under the direction of a Master Pizzaiolo has been a personal passion,” says chef David Hawksworth. “Each of our pizzas is individually made by hand, tossed and stretched, then baked to perfection.”

The new Nightingale Pizza lineup is comprised of the Roasted Mushroom (fontina cheese, confit garlic, arugula pesto), the Spicy Spianata Salumi (piquillo peppers, San Marzano tomatoes), and the Classic Margherita (San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil).

Nightingale Pizza can be found at grocery stores across B.C. More information can be found online.
