With almost a decade of history in the non-profit sector, the Soup Sisters upped their charitable efforts and launched their first commercial soup to support families in need of comfort and nourishment. The Hamburger Soup is available for purchase at 34 Costco locations in Eastern Canada, and it is priced at $10.99 for two 830-mL portions.

"It's a win-win situation. Just by buying this soup, you not only can enjoy it at home and feel good about knowing your purchase helps people in need all year long, but if you're pressed for time on Soup It Forward Day, you can pick up a few containers and give them to people in need. It's just as good as homemade," says Soup Sisters founder and CEO, Sharon Hapton.

For the past 10 years, Soups Sisters and Broth Brothers have helped millions of victims affected by domestic violence. They will continue this tradition on the National Soup It Forward Day, March 3, 2019, by hosting soup-making events for local shelters and people in need in over 26 cities in North America.
