If you haven't heard of Leaving Thomas yet, then you're missing out on one of Western Canada's top rising country music acts, in our opinion. The duo, composed of singer and songwriters Annika Odegard and Bryton Udy, also happen to be one of the Project WILD finalists for 2018, as well as current CCMA Awards nominees! Based in Calgary, AB, the duo has been writing, performing, and recording music together since 2014 and in the past four years, have performed on stages large and small. This weekend, you can catch them performing for thousands of folks at Big Valley Jamboree alongside Paul Brandt, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line and other famous acts. No big deal.

In January 2018, the duo released their first self-titled album, which was a no. 1 hit on the Country iTunes charts. Their debut single, “Waiting Kind Of Girl” broke the top 40 at Canadian Country Radio in 2017, and their latest single “Blame It On The Neon” peaked on the charts at no. 18 in March 2018.

As a duo, they are known for their stage presence and infectious energy (they have a lot of fun on Instagram too). Their newest single “Kiss About It” was just released to radio on July 13th. Whether it be on stage, in front of the camera, or hanging with fans, they want to make sure that they are lighthearted and have fun with everything they do and that's no exception when it comes to going out on the town in Calgary!

OEB's “meatless to say” breakfast bowl is what dreams are made of! The vibe is great as well! We love it there!

Lunch

Pasquale’s! Their dry ribs and Caesar salad lunch combo is a go-to for sure! The authentic Italian food and amazing wine makes it a great place for dinner as well!

Via Cibo. I love that it’s casual enough you can just walk in, but the food is still amazing and it’s still a great night out! Also, the gelato bar? Yes please!

Proof. Half the time we have no idea what we are drinking, but the drinks are delicious and the vibe is so cool!
