TV host and comedian John Catucci is back on Food Network again, but this time, he is on a crazy food tour checking delicious, must-eat foods off his Big Food Bucket List from restaurants across North America. If you enjoyed the hit series You Gotta Eat Here, you are in for a blast as this new series promises to be bigger and better!
The premier episodes “Rolling in the Deep Dish” and “More than Meats the Eye” air on May 24 at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The first episode shows Catucci going from city to city in North America, learning how to make a pizza pie from the original deep dish pizza in Chicago. We also see him visit a Jamaican-Chinese joint in Toronto to enjoy a burger on a sweet pineapple bun and jerk lobster. There is so much more that this episode brings, but where is the fun if we tell it all?
Viewers can anticipate Catucci trying out some extremely delectable dishes from different insta-famous restaurants, such as a spaghetti grilled cheese from California, and some fresh-from-the-sea seared scallops from Halifax. Even Beyonce’s favourite fried chicken restaurant is not left out of this mouth watering tour! For those with a sweet tooth, this show sees Catucci enjoy some delicious treats, like royally luxurious hazelnut chocolate French toast from Calgary, as well as some reasonably satisfying fluffy pancakes from Nova Scotia.
Nova Scotia Tourism sponsored three episodes as well as provided suggestions on restaurants that features bucket-worthy menus that show the province's bountiful culture and way of life.
