If you’ve spent any time traversing the bustling streets of south Calgary, you’ve likely noticed a new Tokyo Street Market taking form just across the road from CF Chinook Centre, along with some new signage indicating that the new Japanese fast-casual eatery will specialize in ramen, pasta, and grab-and-go sushi offerings.

Beyond that, details are relatively slim regarding what will make the new brick-and-mortar location unique from its predecessors, however, given the diversity between the Ke Charcoal Grill franchise’s five Calgary concepts, it’s safe to bet that the new location won’t be resting on any laurels of the franchise’s past successes. It will also be a much-welcomed addition to an area of the city that isn't known for overly dynamic dining options.
