It can be real tough to decide what to do on New Year's Eve, but if you're in Edmonton and love a throwback moment as much as I do, then Chartier has made the decision for you.
Embracing all things 1970s and cheesy (figuratively and literally), the popular French-Canadian-leaning eatery just outside of the city limits is offering a playful, multi-course après-Ski-themed NYE dinner experience for just $125 a person. The menu includes four rounds of "lavish" vintage appetizers such as a smoked salmon and lobster cheese ball, beet-pickled devilled eggs, pigs in a blanket, Swiss cheese fondue and so much more.
The restaurant is offering three seatings on December 31: 5:00-5:45 p.m. party arrival (with a two hour seating limit), 7:00-7:45 p.m. (with the same time limit), and 9:00-9:45 p.m. with no time restriction. The latter is most definitely the one you want if you're hoping to officially cheers to 2023 in the restaurant.
Reservations for Chartier's après-ski-themed NYE dinner experience can be made online, with limited tables remaining.
