In an extraordinary effort to help support a wide variety of community initiatives across Canada, Driving Force Canada just announced that they will begin providing fleet vehicles to individuals to aid in the transport of goods related to healthcare workers and city residents requiring necessities.

"During these challenging times, Driving Force is looking for ways to support the communities in which we work and live," says Driving Force Canada marketing representative, Gayle Head. "We are a national company. If you are a company that is working diligently to support frontline healthcare workers and the general public with the necessities required, then we want to help you."

Driving Force has branches across Canada from Mississauga to Langley, please check out their website to see if there is a location near you. The company has a wide range of rental vehicles available that they are willing to provide at either no charge or minimal charge (dependent on situation).

A few examples of initiatives for which Driving Force Canada is eager to provide rental vehicles include:

  • transportation of distillery or brewery-made sanitizer to healthcare workers, police stations, fire stations, and other frontline workers
  • transportation of perishable or non-perishable food items to shelters or community members in need
  • transportation for individuals in need of grocery shopping trips for necessities.
  • grocers wanting to transport near-expired or "best before" items to local shelters and food charities.

People interested in requesting rental vehicles from the fleet for COVID-19 crisis relief initiatives are to email Driving Force Canada directly.
