A cool new festival is coming to Winnipeg next month that will showcase and celebrate the city’s creative community through food, drinks, music, and art. Taking place at The Forks from August 12 to 14, Current Festival will aim to offer event-goers a summer festival experience that highlights the very best the city has to offer.

In addition to a wide variety of local libations from purveyors like Nonsuch Brewing Co., Barn Hammer Brewing, Keep Calm Wines, and Prism Kombucha, the Current Festival will also be serving Pop Cart popsicles, Oh Doughnuts, and a hyper-local food hall-style menu from award-winning chef Ben Kramer featuring a multitude of local suppliers and farmers.

The festival will also feature an eclectic array of Winnipeg-made art and aesthetics, along with daily live musical performances from artists such as The Bros. Landreth, Begonia, Leonard Sumner, William Prince, and many more.

Tickets to Winnipeg’s first annual Current Festival are now available. More information about the festival can be found online
