Last week, Explore Edmonton launched a new initiative that will provide Edmontonians with exclusive access to special offers from 11 local food and beverage establishments in the downtown area.

The Downtown Dining Pass will offer a selection of mobile-exclusive promotions that range from reduced pricing on featured menu items to buy-one-get-one offers and in some cases, full bill discounts as high as 20 per cent off.

Diners who wish to take advantage of the program can easily sign up online and a dining passport will be instantly delivered to their phone via text or email. When visiting a participating business, guests can simply present their phone to a staff member and the passport’s offerings will be redeemed.

The current list of participating businesses includes Bündok, Central Social Hall, CRAFT Beer Market, Dorinku Osaka, DOSC Restaurant, Ikki Izakaya, Little Brick, Mercer Tavern, Say Uncle, The Common and The Moth Café, with more slated to join in the coming weeks.

More information, pass applications, and active Downtown Dining Pass offers can be found online.
