Season 6 of The Great Canadian Baking Show officially wrapped up last night with B.C.-based baker Lauren Tjoe being crowned as the new reigning GCBS champion. Although this season’s batch of bakers won’t be spending anymore time in the tent in 2022, a few former fan favourites from seasons past will be returning for a special holiday episode taking place on November 27.
The GCBS alumni that will be competing on The Great Canadian Holiday Baking Show are Season 2’s Mengling Chen, Season 4’s Mahathi Mundluru, and Season 5’s Stephen Nhan and Steve Levitt.
The four bakers will face off across three holiday-themed challenges that will require them to assemble a savoury holiday party platter, bake up a batch of German holiday cookies, and create an elaborate holiday scene cake that tells a festive tale.
The Great Canadian Holiday Baking Show airs on Sunday, November 27 at 8 p.m. (ET) on CBC and CBC Gem.
