After closing its doors earlier this month, Vancouver’s Giovane Café is now officially set to reopen inside of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel on Friday, August 28.
Now under operational ownership of renowned restaurant group Kitchen Table, the new Giovane Café will serve as a multifaceted space, featuring a café, market, and counter-service restaurant courtesy of sister restaurant Pastificio di Luigi.
“This is not just the latest evolution for Kitchen Table, but for Giovane as well,” says Kitchen Table executive chef Alessandro Vianello. “We’re excited to embark on this first stage and can’t wait to introduce our guests to our fully realized vision for the space sometime next year.”
Operating as a pop-up until Kitchen Table is able to renovate and unveil a reimagined concept, the new iteration of Giovane will offer a selection of grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, pastries, and espresso-based beverages.
Guests of Giovane will also be able purchase an array of Pastificio’s fresh and dry pasta, housemade sauces, and specialty ingredients, along with Italian wine, bottled cocktails, cookbooks and pasta-making equipment.
Giovane Café will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
