An international festival showcasing the new generation of Vietnamese and Vietnamese-Canadians

A one-of-a-kind Vietnamese-Canadian festival is taking place in Calgary next week that will aim to represent and reflect a new generation of Vietnamese and Vietnamese-Canadians who are exploring a different cultural, musical, and artistic side of Vietnam.

Taking place at The Prairie Emporium in partnership with Vietnam-based food and culture tour company Hidden Saigon and its owner Linh Phan, VIETNAM NOW YYC Edition will feature a mix of film screenings from talented filmmakers like Vicki Van Chau, Vietnamese street foods courtesy of Pure Vietnamese chef Lam Pham, La Viet Coffee specialty drinks, chocolate treats from Vietnamese chocolatier Maison Marou, and much more.

"I am so excited to bring VIETNAM NOW to Calgary this summer. I think Calgarians are going to enjoy everything from the fun food and drinks we'll be serving to, of course, some interesting films, panel discussion and more," says Phan.

VIETNAM NOW YYC Edition is happening at The Prairie Emporium on July 30 from 12 p.m. to late. Tickets are priced at $10 per person and can be purchased online or at the door upon entry.
