A trio of Top Chef Canada fan favourites have been stirring up significant buzz as of late following recent announcements from Vancouver chef Kym Nguyn that they will be teaming up for two special dinners with two of their fiercest former competitors.

If you’ve been keeping up with chef Nguyen’s Instagram account, you likely already know that they will be popping up at The Farmer’s Apprentice this upcoming weekend for a seven-course tasting menu in collaboration with fellow Vancouver chef Andrea Alridge

The newest announcement, which came just last night, revealed that chef Nguyen will also be making their way to the Prairies for yet another incredible Top Chef Canada alumni collaboration, this time with Winnipeg chef Emily Butcher

The two chefs have yet to reveal the menu itself, but have stated that the collaboration will be taking place May 28 and 29 at chef Butcher's somewhat newly-opened Nola, and will feature 12 a la carte courses of what the chefs describe as their “unique styles of Asian with a twist of British and French tradition,” along with curated wine pairings from Elemental Wine.

Tickets to chef Nguyen and chef Alridge’s pop-up dinner can be purchased via Eventbrite, while tickets to chef Nguyen and chef Butcher’s collaboration can be secured via reservation at Nola.
