While the announcement of Zellers "returning" was met with initial excitement followed by a bit of disappointment, curiosity has been piqued once again with the unveiling of the Zellers Diner on Wheels menu.

Citing obvious impracticality of adding a true diner inside of the impending Zellers pop-ups at Hudson's Bay stores, HBC did announce today that Zellers will be sending out diner-themed food trucks to some store locations. The food trucks promise to offer plenty of nostalgia with their concise menu.

The menu offers five Zellers Diner classics, the Big Z Burger, a hot chicken sandwich (think chicken and gravy, not Nashville hot chicken), a grilled cheese sandwich, chicken fingers, and (presumably crinkle-cut) fries and gravy.

Zellers Diner on Wheels tour dates and locations will be shared by HBC at a later date.
