From the folks behind Qualicum Beach Cafe, and Water St. Cafe in Vancouver (Eli Brennan, Alan Tse, and Todd Bright) comes a brand-new west coast concept in Nanoose Bay, BC.

Aptly named after the small town itself, the new Nanoose Bay Cafe offers some strking ocean views and plenty of seating between its dining room, bar and patio. It also boasts an adjacent coffee shop with beans coming from French Press Coffee Roasters (Qualicum Beach) and a marketplace stocked with interesting products from 30+ local makers and food producers.

“We’ve known since our first visit that this place has always been important here, as a gathering place and the heart of the community," said co-owner Eli Brennan in this week's opening announcement. "We’re keeping all of that, adding more products and services, and bringing an elevated Vancouver Island dining experience that we know will satisfy local guests and visitors alike.”

The food menu, available from morning to night, offers a wide range of dishes including seafood platters (obviously!), shrimp toast, hot crab dip and much more.

Nanoose Bay Cafe is located at  3521 Dolphin Drive, Nanoose Bay, BC, and is now open for lunch, happy hour and dinner.
