Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country recently announced that its popular Savour the Sun dinner will be returning to Calgary for a fantastic five-course dinner with wine pairings at Yellow Door Bistro on February 24.
Executive chef Quinn Staple plans to offer guests an ingredient-driven experience that showcases the region’s fresh, local, and seasonal bounty, along with a selection of carefully paired wines from the Okanagan’s Culmina Family Estate Winery and Gold Hill Winery.
“We couldn’t be happier to return to Calgary for our popular Savour the Sun wine dinner and bring an exceptional line up of high quality wines to the table,” says Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “We were honoured to have chef Quinn Staple join us in our region for Pig Out Trails last year and always love partnering with the Yellow Door team to share our region’s wines and characters, and to inspire and welcome Calgarians to Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country in 2022.”
The dinner will also feature interactive and informative discussions led by representatives of both wineries, covering topics ranging from their artisanal approaches to wine-growing to the specific stories behind each offering.
Limited reservations are currently available online for $122.50 per person. Hotel Arts is also offering wine dinner guests a 15 per cent discount on overnight studio rooms stays at the hotel.
