This week, the newest addition to Calgary’s acclaimed Dandy Brewing Company, DandyPop, announced a new weeklong festival that will see five of the city’s top eateries create unique highballs to help raise funds for charities.
The first annual LowBrow HighBall week will feature Milk Tiger, National 17th, The Wednesday Room, Pigeonhole, and the Dandy Brewing Company Tasting Room, who will all be tasked with developing their own unique libation using DandyPop products.
Each restaurant will feature their DandyPop highball from February 21 to 27 and on Friday, February 25, Dandy Brewing Company Tasting Room will host a public event during which guests will have a chance to sample each offering and vote for their favourite.
Each participating location will contribute a minimum of $1 from each cocktail sold to a charity of their choice. Additionally, festival participants will be able to pick up a punch card at any of the five venues that can be redeemed for a “Living Lowbrow” button at Dandy Brewing Company.
