When it comes to going all out on a week-long festival dedicated to a particular kind of food, Winnipeg may very well be the best major city in all of Canada. So it should have come as no surprise that when the sixth annual Hot Beverage Week kicked off today, Winnipeg restaurants had once again risen to the occasion.
Similar to previous years, baristas, brewers, and bartenders in Winnipeg’s Exchange District were tasked with creating a feature holiday-insired drink. Throughout the week, guests are encouraged to vote for their favourite hot beverage for a chance to win a $75 gift card to any of the participating businesses.
