It's no secret that standard in-flight drink options are less than spectacular, but when it comes to this standard, Porter Airlines has always been a cut above other Canadian airlines when it comes to its amenities.
The airline is, perhaps, lesser known to Western Canadians, but has long been a popular option for anyone travelling within and in-between Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. In an effort to expand business, Porter recently announced direct flights from Toronto to Edmonton as well as Vancouver.
In an effort to further diversify drink options, Porter Airlines has just added the Alberta-based pre-mixed cocktail line Tumbler & Rocks to its in-flight menu. Beginning February 1, the refreshed liquor menu on longer Porter Airlines flights will include three of Tumbler & Rocks' top-selling pre-batched classic cocktails (Old-Fashioned, Martini, and Margarita) in 100 mL bottles.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Porter Airlines and bringing our craft cocktails to travellers...[and] partnering with a well established brand like Porter marks a significant step in our journey as a brand," said Tumbler & Rocks CEO Nathan Flim in today's announcement.
Select Tumbler & Rocks cocktails will be available on all long-haul Porter flights starting February 1, 2023.
