The delicious-sounding Lunar New Year menus just keep on comin' for Year of the Rabbit, and the latest to land in our Eat North inbox is a luxe take-home dinner by Vancouver chef Billy Nguyen.
The Top Chef Canada alum is offering up Lunar New Year with Billy: at home, a seven-course tasting menu for two.
Described by the chef as a menu that highlights traditional Lunar New Year dishes with a "Billy twist", the courses range from asparagus with gribiche and char siu pork jowl to glass noodles with the chef's XO sauce and smoked ham hock terrine, and a orange chiffon cake with mandarin cream and nut crumb. Of course, some reheating and re-assembly at home will be required, but there will be straightforward instructions for all of that!
The Lunar New Year with Billy: at home packages are limited and can be ordered via Instagram DM or by email while quantities last. Delivery options for the take-home dinners can be made on Friday, January 20 or Saturday, January 21.
