Alberta's premier craft distiller has really been kicking things into overdrive as of late. This past December, Eau Claire Distillery debutted the province's first single-malt whisky to plenty of celebration and last month, their new sour cherry-infused gin hit the shelves and has proven to be quite popular, straight out of the gates.

Now, Eau Claire is launching its newest endeavour, the EquineOx, a bottled craft cocktail in partnership with popular local brewer and soda maker, Annex Ale Project Available in packs of four, the EquineOx Mule is a spin on the classic Moscow Mule and is a combination of Eau Claire Distillery's EquineOx (the distillery's barley-based, prickly pear cactus-infused liquor) and Annex's ginger beer. The balance of the sweet EquineOx with Annex's zippy gingery beer makes for a solid sipper over ice.

The EquineOx Mule is now available to order from Connect Logistics, the Calgary Farmers Market Booth and at the Eau Claire Tasting Room in Turner Valley. Look for packs of the EquineOx Mule in Alberta liquor stores this spring!
