A unique food and music event is coming to Calgary next month that will pair up some of Alberta’s top chefs to celebrate Canadian Country Music Week alongside a live music lineup packed with CCMA Award-nominated artists.

In addition to its signature songwriter circles with artists like Jason Benoit, Hailey Benedict, Dan Davidson, Jade Turner, and many more, Blue Jay Sessions’ upcoming two-night dinner series dubbed "Blue Jay Dinner Sessions" will offer guests a chance to experience music-inspired three-course dinners created by either chef Tracy Little (Sauvage Restaurant) and Rogelio Herrera (Alloy) on September 8 or chef Sterling Cummings (Bridgette Bar) and Matthew Batey (Teatro Group) on September 9.

"It will be great to be back in Calgary to perform in September and, being a person who loves to cook and dine out, I am really looking forward to being a part of this special Blue Jay Sessions dinner series on September 8," says country singer Jason Benoit.

Event-goers can also look forward to a full-service cash bar with plenty of local libations from Park Distillery and Russell Brewing Co., including the newly-released Blue Jay Sessions Lager.

Blue Jays Sessions’ Two-Night Dinner Series takes place on September 8 and 9 at Carter Cadillac. Tickets are priced at $75 per person and include a welcome cocktail, canapes, and a three-course dinner. The full musical lineup along with full event information can be found online.
