If you’ve been looking for fun ways to get into the spirit of Halloween in Calgary, you need not wait until October 31 because a trio of RuPaul’s Drag Race stars are coming to town this weekend to perform a live singing comedy parody of the 1993 Halloween cult classic film Hocus Pocus.
The Witch Perfect tour features an Emmy-winning ensemble of RPDR alumni in Season 13’s Tina Burner as Winifred, Season 11 and All Stars Season 6’s Scarlet Envy as Sarah, and Season 12’s Alexis Michelle as Mary.
The show will also feature a selection of Halloween-themed music put together by composer Blake Allen, with hits ranging from Cardi B and Lady Gaga to Halloween classics featured in the film like Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ “I Put A Spell On You”
