Alberta’s award-winning Eau Claire Distillery unveiled a new collector’s edition whisky this week, providing Calgary Flames fans and whisky enthusiasts alike with something to sip on..
Made in collaboration with the Calgary Flames as an homage to both the Calgary community and Alberta terroir, Eau Claire’s new collector’s edition whisky offers an approachable aroma of sweetness and a hint of red fruits, chocolate, and nutmeg on the nose, along with a complex combination of dried fruit and slightly nutty finish on the palate. The bottle design also serves as a statement to Calgary Flames culture through the use of Flames-red foil, the Calgary Flames official logo, and the Saddledome in the background.
“This Collector’s Edition of Rupert’s Whisky marks an incredible partnership with southern Alberta’s favourite hockey team, the Calgary Flames,” says David Farran, founder of Eau Claire Distillery. “With this collaboration, we celebrate our hometown team, community and local Alberta industry with one fantastic product.”
