After stirring up significant buzz across the country earlier this month with the announcement of Canada’s first-ever Filipino Restaurant Month, the Philippine Department of Tourism revealed the inaugural festival’s list of participants today.
Although the initial announcement specified that participating restaurants would be limited to four major cities, the list that was revealed today features roughly 40 Filipino restaurants that span from B.C. to Nova Scotia.
Throughout the festival, patrons of the participating restaurants will be able to order from prix-fixe menus from eateries like Vancouver’s Pampanga’s Cuisine, Winnipeg’s Foodtrip Kitchen, Toronto’s Kanto by Tita Flips, Halifax’s Silong Express, and many more.
Additionally, by purchasing the prix-fixe menu, diners will be qualified to enter a series of prizes and giveaways, including domestic airfare within the Philippines, hotel and resort accommodations, and a culinary day tour for two.
