Banff’s annual multi-week food and beverage festival Taste for Adventure is making a return this fall, and though the festival may be a bit shorter than years past, the sheer amount of quality participants more than makes up for it.
From October 28 to November 13, 24 of Banff and Lake Louise’s top eateries will be offering up unique prix fixe menus or value-added offers on special dishes and features that aim to showcase seasonal ingredients from throughout the region.
Perhaps even more exciting, this year’s festival will also include eight relative newcomers to the area’s ever-expanding food and beverage scene, including Bluebird Restaurant, Brazen, Lupo, and Una Pizza and Wine, which all have opened within the past year.
“The food scene in Banff and Lake Louise is incredibly vibrant and diverse and rivals our breathtaking scenery,” says Nancy DaDalt, Director, Visitor Experience, Banff & Lake Louise Tourism. “With so much choice, visitors are going to want to stay a while and try delicious cuisine from a variety of restaurants, while also taking advantage of the outdoor activities we have to offer. And remember—calories don’t count in the mountains.”
The Taste for Adventure festival kicks off on October 28. The full list of participating restaurants along with what each eatery will be featuring for the festival can be found online.
