With the reputation of being one of Western Canada’s most popular noodle joints long since secured, Vancouver’s Fat Mao Noodles just gave patrons a new cause for excitement with the recent announcement that it has officially become a fully licensed eatery and will be offering both a new beverage program and expanded hours of operation.

Heading up the beverage program at Fat Mao is award-winning wine consultant Kurtis Kolt and Maenam alumni Diego Vergel, who have created a drinks list featuring a few inventive cocktails, a lineup of local craft beers, and a selection of cool wines by the can.

"Maintaining a great beverage program in a quick-service environment is not easy." explains Fat Mao founder Angus An. "Up until now, quality assurance has been an expensive and daunting undertaking. Only a small percentage of our guests want a glass of wine or a cocktail with their meal. Having a dedicated bartender scheduled is not realistic, and bottle service just isn't the right fit."

Both Fat Mao Noodles locations will now be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. More information along with current menus, delivery options, and up-to-date specials can be found online.
