With the annual Prairie Grid Dinner coming up next Saturday, that means the Prairie Grid Market is just around the corner too. Happening at Carter Cadillac from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this one-day makers' market will highlight some of Calgary's most interesting food and drink product creators.
Monster Sauce Co. (maker of Monster Crunch and Shorty's Hot Honey), Marigold mfg (small-batch vinegar maker), 8 Cakes, Ma Pies, Vresh Foods OG Ghee, Wild Folk (non-alcoholic canned cocktails), Dandy Pop, and Goldie Chocolate are just some of the interesting vendors market-goers will find at the Prairie Grid Market.
In addition to cool food and drink products, Bastion Burger food truck will also be on site serving up their signature smash burgers. Folks can head to the upper level of Carter Cadillac at any time between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to sit and enjoy the burgers, and other market treats along with Hightlight RTDs and Dandy Brewing Co. beers as well as live music performances throughout the afternoon.
