Tickets on sale now for the 2021 Prairie Grid Dinner

This cool pop-up dinner in Calgary features top-tier culinary talent

With the second annual Prairie Grid Market set to take place on October 9 and 10 at Carter Cadillac in Calgary, it only feels right to help kick things off with an amazing dinner that celebrates all things Prairie.

As teased last week, four of the Prairies' most dynamic culinary minds–Garrett Martin (Major Tom), Christie Peters (Primal, Saskatoon), Kaede Hirooka (Respect The Technique) and Jinhee Lee (JINBAR)–will join forces for a five-course dinner menu for a small group of lucky diners. The dinner will take place in the spacious upper level of the Carter Cadillac dealership. Surrounded by vintage Cadillacs and Prairie-inspired artwork as well as other design elements to create a special atmosphere, it is gearing up to be a night to remember!

"As someone who was part of the inaugural Prairie Grid Dinner Series in 2017, I have loved to watch this annual celebration of Prairie food and drink evolve and adapt over the years," says Saskatoon chef Christie Peters. "I cannot wait to come to Calgary and share the Saskatchewan ingredients I know and love with the chefs I'll be collaborating with and everyone who is joining us for dinner."

Limited to just 40 seats, the dinner will also showcase a unique mix of Prairie-made spirits, cider, and beer through drink offerings created by High Line Brewing bar manager Kaitlyn Alonday.

Guests can begin to arrive at 6:30 p.m. and will be greeted with a welcome cocktail and live music by Brettyn Rose until the sit-down dinner begins promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now via Showpass at the cost of $85 per seat. There are only 40 tickets available for this special chef collaboration dinner. An add-on for curated drink pairings is available for $40 (at Showpass checkout) and attendees may also order drinks a la carte from our pop-up bar.
