Following the success of its first Calgary location on the Beltline, popular Regina-based chain Leopold's Tavern is maintaining its momentum with a new location in Bowness, opening this summer.
Formerly occupied by White Rose Vegetarian Restaurant and The Coal Shed Smoke House before their closure last December, the locale was initially a White Rose gas station, which then became an auto repair shop. The rich history and character of the building, combined with the quaint vibe of the neighbourhood, is a great backdrop for Leopold's and its casual menu of trusty pub staples like poutine, wings and burgers.
This is the third location the chain has opened within the last 12 months, the first of which was opened last spring in a new suburb in Saskatoon.
