Hard to believe we're already on our eighth episode of Eat North Variety Pack, but time flies when you're cooped up at home, right?
Hosts Mairlyn Smith and Dan Clapson welcome back panelist Carmen Cheng to chat recent food news before this week's guests start popping by.
First up is Linda Miller-Nicholson of @saltyseattle fame. Linda–a food writer and cookbook author based in Seattle–creates wildly vibrant pastas at home as well as pasta art, which has brought her to social media stardom via Instagram in recent years. She'll chat with the group about how she creates her edible works of art at home using flours made from Canadian wheat and why she loves Canada so much.
Edmonton chef Steve Brochu swings by to talk about how he has adjusted his cafe and catering business, MilkCrate, to successfully offer virtual cooking classes amid the current pandemic. He'll whip up an easy dish with Mairlyn too.
Last, but not least, Canadian country singer Kalsey Kulyk will chat with Dan about live in Nashville and close out the show with an acoustic performance.
Eat North Variety Pack airs weekly on Thursdays at 12 p.m. MDT (2 p.m. ET) on our Facebook page.
